Chronopost Service Overview

Chronopost rate card rules

• You need to guarantee at least 10 Chronopost Prime parcels shipped per day.
• You need to accept and comply with the Terms and Conditions of Chronopost.
• For all outbound shipments (domestic and international): You can ship packages up to 150 cm in length on the longest side and with maximum 300 cm of girth (girth = 2 x width +2 x height + length) with a maximum weight of 30kg – domestic shipments and Belgium, 10kg – international shipments.
• For light Hazmat products: You need to inform Chronopost in advance, sign an additional agreement and label every parcel with a special sticker provided by Chronopost. Other (non-light) dangerous goods are not eligible to be shipped.
• For all returns (domestic only): Returns are limited to 150 cm in length on the longest side, with maximum 300 cm of girth (girth = 2 x width +2 x height + length) with maximum 20 kg weight. Products exceeding these dimensions will receive unpaid customer return labels.

Insurance policy

• Packages without a declared insurance value are automatically insured up to €23/Kg value by Chronopost France. This means that the insurance coverage = weight of parcel x 23 € (within the value limit of 690€ per parcel).
• Chronopost France also provides additional insurance up to €5000. You need to subscribe to this additional pay service directly to Chronopost. This should be transmitted to Chronopost as part of the manifest.

  Chronopost delivers to Corsica for a surcharge of €11.5 (in addition to the shipping.

• Extended Area regions surcharge

  Prices in EUR (excl. VAT*): €1.5 for delivery to extended areas in France. See Extended Area Surcharge Postal Codes.

  *Applicable VAT is 20.0%
