Assign SKUs to a Prime Shipping Template
There are two ways to assign SKUs to a Prime shipping template, depending on how many you're assigning:
Using Manage Inventory in Seller Central (recommended for making 1-50 changes at a time):
On the Manage Inventory Page, the Shipping Template name is displayed next to the Price for each SKU.
Select the SKUs you want to update, click Actions in the top-left corner, and then select Change Shipping Template.
Select Change Shipping Template (below Manage Inventory), choose your Prime Template, and click Yes continue on the following screen.
Using Feeds (recommended for making more than 50 changes)
Excel Feed: The Inventory Loader file has a column named merchant-shipping-group-name. You can use this file to assign SKUs to Shipping Templates. In that column, enter the name of the Shipping templates you want SKUs to be assigned to.
XML Feeds: The Product XML feed contains an attribute named "MerchantShippingGroupName". You can use this attribute to assign SKUs to Shipping Templates. In that column, enter the name of the Shipping templates you want SKUs to be assigned to.
Check which SKUs are assigned to a shipping template
You can check which SKUs are assigned to which shipping templates using one of two ways:
From the Manage Inventory page in Seller Central:
In Manage Inventory, the Shipping Template name is displayed next to the Price for each SKU. Click the template name to go to the template page.
In the Product Edit Page, which you can find by clicking Edit for a SKU on the Inventory Page. Once on the Product Edit Page, scroll down to find the Shipping Template assigned to the SKU.
Using the Active Listings Report
The Active Listings Report, which you can find under Inventory Reports, shows which SKU is assigned to each Shipping Template.
Shipping Overrides are no longer supported in Shipping Settings. Historical Shipping Overrides data stored in Amazon's systems will no longer be enforced and new Shipping Override feeds will not be processed. Sellers should use multiple shipping templates to configure different shipping settings for different SKUs instead. You can find more information about this on our help page Migrate to the new Shipping settings.
