In accordance with the new requirements of the French law on the fight against waste and the circular economy, you are now required to inform customers about the availability of spare parts for your items.
Since January 1, 2022, the display of the availability or non-availability of spare parts that are essential to the use of goods and, if applicable, the period during which these parts are available, is mandatory for all products. For electrical and electronic equipment and furniture products, when this information is not provided, spare parts that are essential to the use of the goods will be deemed unavailable.
To upload this information, you must fill the attribute [spare_part_availability_duration] in your catalog or in the item creation template. Add the amount of time that spare parts will be available for your item in the EU Spare Part Availability Duration field and select Years in the EU Spare Part Availability Duration Unit field.
