For all outbound shipments (domestic and international): You can ship packages up to 200
cm in length on the longest side and with maximum 300 cm of girth (girth = 2 x width +2 x
height + length) with a maximum weight of 30kg.
For limited quantities light hazmat: You need to inform DPD in advance, sign an
additional agreement and label every parcel with a special sticker provided by DPD. Other
(non-light) dangerous goods are not eligible to be shipped.
For all returns (domestic only): Returns are limited to 100 cm in length on the longest
side, with maximum 250 cm of girth (girth = 2 x width +2 x height + length) with maximum
20 kg weight. Products exceeding these dimensions will receive unpaid customer return
Packages without a declared insurance value are automatically insured up to €23/Kg value
by DPD France. This means that the insurance coverage = weight of parcel x 23 € (within
the value limit of the shipped item).
DPD France also provides additional insurance up to €22.500. The additional insurance
has a charge of 0.75% of the declared value of the shipment. This should be transmitted to
DPD France as part of the manifest.
