Small and Light barcode requirements are aligned with standard FBA. As such, individual barcodes are required on each unit.
According to our FBA barcode requirements, products that do not use a manufacturer barcode for tracking require an Amazon barcode. You can print Amazon barcodes from within your seller account and apply the barcodes yourself. If you do not want to apply the barcodes yourself, you can sign up for the FBA Label Service and have Amazon apply the labels for you.
Products cannot be bundled and they must comply with standard FBA packaging and prep requirements. To be eligible for Amazon to apply an Amazon barcode for you through the FBA Label service, each individual unit must have a single scannable barcode that uniquely identifies the product, such as an EAN, UPC, ISBN, GCID, or JAN.
Crushable items such as crisps and glass must be properly prepared and packaged so that they are not crushed or broken when shipped. Crushed or broken items will not be received at the fulfillment center. They will be removed or disposed of at your expense.
Each shipment contains a minimum of 24 units per SKU.
Shipment contents match the shipping plan.
Shipment does not contain dangerous goods (hazmat) or items that are temperature-sensitive, meltable, or crushable.
Each individual sellable unit has a single scannable barcode. Items that are not properly prepped must be removed or disposed of at your expense. For more information, go to Remove inventory (overview).
Send shipments only to the fulfillment center that is specified on the shipping label.
Note: Through the FBA Label Service, we will apply an Amazon barcode to your Small and Light products. Additionally, you can use the FBA Prep Service to have us package and prep your Small and Light products for fulfillment for a per unit fee. To be eligible for the FBA Label Service, note that each individual unit must have a single scannable barcode (GCID, UPC, EAN, JAN, or ISBN) that uniquely identifies the product.
